It's been a while since I last blogged on the new site. I finished my most recent book Justified Homicide and published it in the latter part of November. Since my book debuted in the fall of 2024. Two more Magnolia Bluff Crime Chronicles have been added to the Magnolia Bluff saga. I'd like to share a bit about them. They are terrific books by talented Underground Authors. 

Jinx Schwartz is a US TODAY Best Selling Author. Her latest book is The Bluebonnet Conspiracy. Here's a snippet from my five-star review of her cozy mystery.

"The Bluebonnet Conspiracy is the third novel for Jinx Schwartz in the Magnolia Bluff Crime Chronicles series. It’s her best yet. At its core, the book is a murder mystery, but it is laugh-out-loud funny on some pages. At other times, the comedic remarks are subtle, and one must pay attention to the references to fully appreciate the humor in this book."

CW Hawes is an accomplished prolific author who writes in several genres, but in my opinion, he is most adept when writing murder mysteries. Here's my review of his most recent Magnolia Bluff Crime Chronicle, Death By Moonlight. "They are a most unusual couple. Harry Thurgood is a man of mystery...Harry’s common-law wife Ember Cole is a minister at St. Luke’s United Methodist Church. Despite her very modest attire of long black A-line dresses complete with a clerical collar, Ember has a scandalous past as a porn star."
