I am excited about my new adventure on this website. I have blogged previously but had been advised this site was more user-friendly than my previous one. Admittedly, I am not the most tech-savvy person online. Being blonde has always been an opening for endless blonde jokes. And yes, I find them funny too. 

This site is an opportunity for me to share news about my writing projects. I have a new book waiting in the wings. It's called Justified Homicide and is Book Thirty in the Magnolia Bluff Crime Chronicles.It will be published in November. This series of books is a project of the Underground Authors, a brainchild of Caleb and Linda Pirtle. We are a group of twelve authors who write about a fictitious town in Texas known as Magnolia Bluff. Most are cozy murder mysteries, but those of you who know me are well aware that my books are a tad grittier than cozies.

The latest book from the Underground Authors is The Ransom Enigma by Breakfield and Burkey. Jo and JJ Rodreguiz are jet-setters and a power couple. She's a high-profile fashion model and JJ is the man you call when you need serious, high-tech internet security. I just took a dive into the book and am engrossed already. Here's the Amazon link:

This morning I decided to lower the price of some of my earlier print novels to $9.99. They were previously $15. If you are like me, the economy has taken a bite out of my budget and I've had to curtail some of my entertainment spending. The Radio Murders, 6 White Roses, Kiss the Girls and Make Them Die, and Bless Me Father For I Have Sinned were all reduced.
